The Odisha Masters is a professional badminton tournament on the Badminton World Federation’s annual tour. It is a part of the Super 100 series and has been held since 2022 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium. The tournament is governed by the Badminton Association of India.
A total of five events are held in the men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles category. All events are held in the single elimination knockout draw format. The draw size of men’s singles is 48 whereas the remaining events have a draw size of 32.
A match played at the Odisha Masters is contested in the best of three sets format. A set is won when a player or side gets to 21 points with a difference of two points. If the score reaches 20-20, then the side that is first to take a lead of two points wins the set.
The total prize money for the event is USD $100,000. Out of this, the winners of the singles events get USD $7500, whereas the doubles champions receive USD $7900 as a team. The runners-up of both events earn USD $3800. The champions of each event get 5500 ranking points whereas the runners-up get 4680 points.
No players have twice registered a title win at the event in any discipline. As of 2204, host nation India has seen six of its players lift the trophy across all disciplines. The next best nation is China with three of its players winning the title.
