What is the Fibonacci betting system?

Betting on a Fibonacci sequence is undoubtedly a controversial concept. There are definitely players who make big profits thanks to this strategy, but its risks are not insignificant.

The basic concept of betting according to the Fibonacci sequence is simple – you bet on a draw. If you lose, you bet on a draw again, referring to the specific key used to increase the bet. It is important to use an odds ratio of over 2.62 (specifically 2.618); and fortunately for people who want to implement the strategy, quite a few matches offer these or higher odds of a draw. The higher the odds, the better it is for the players.

Fibonacci numbers and betting sequence
If you lose your first bet, you simply wager on a draw for the next, which will rely on the sequence of Fibonacci numbers. The number combination is thus a sequence of numbers, in which the sum of the first two results in the third number. Assuming that the successful bet had a odds of @ 2.80, your winnings are 403.20 euros with a total bet of 287 euros, which makes your net profit 116 euros.


The disadvantage of this strategy is obvious. If we assume that you lose not ten consecutive bets, but twenty, then you will already have lost about 17,000 euros. This is too much for almost anyone and it is not worth the risk.
