The short corner in football is where two players stand by the flag and the kicker passes the ball to the second player. The game can go differently from there. Coaches can show players how to create space when they are closed down by a defender.
The players should stand right behind the ball, next to each other, facing the goal. One passes the ball to the other. The player who’s stronger with the left foot should pass to the one better with the right one if the corner is from the attacking team’s right side.
This allows the second player to dribble toward the goal, straight down the end line. He can also use the player with the strong left foot to cross the ball or shoot first time.
The second player is open if the player dribbling down the line goes right at the defender. The one with the ball keeps going to goal if the defender goes with the running player.
