The Senior Women’s Inter zonal T20 Trophy is a cricket tournament for zonal women’s teams in India. It began in 2022-23, adopting the shortest format of the sport. The tournament is organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India.

A total of six teams participate in the competition. These are the Central Zone, East Zone, West Zone, North Zone, South Zone, and the North East Zone. The tournament follows a format comprising of a league phase and a final.

The league phase sees each team play the other once in a single round-robin format. A team gets four points for a win, two for a tie, and no points for a loss. If two teams are tied at the same number of points at the end of the league stage, then the better team is decided by the number of wins, head-to-head record, and the net run rate.

The top two teams in the league stage contest the final. As of 2024, West Zone have reached the final of both editions contested thus far. However, on both instances they lost to Central Zone and East Zone. Yastika Bhatia is the highest run-scorer of the tournament as of 2024, raking up 319 runs as of 2024.

Though Rashi Kanojiya, Anjali Sarvani, Parunika Sisodia, and Ekta Bisht were the leading wicket-takers in the first two editions, it is Poonam Yadav who is the leading wicket-taker of the tournament with 14 wickets to her name.

The Senior Women’s Inter zonal T20 Trophy continues to pave the way for cricketers to make it to the national T20 side.
