The Spice Isle T10 is a cricket competition that is organized by the Grenada Cricket Association. It began during the COVID-19 pandemic to serve the viewers with some entertainment during the tumultuous period. However, it has since gone on to produce and provide opportunities to budding players.
The tournament is unique for the fact that each participating team is named after a spice. As of 2024, the participating teams are Saffron Strikers, Ginger Generals, Cinnamon Pacers, Nutmeg Warriors, Bay Leaf Blasters, and Clove Challengers.
The tournament follows a double round-robin format where each team plays the other twice. Teams win four points for a win, two for a drawn or abandoned match, and zero for a loss. In addition to these points, teams also get bonus points based on their scoring rates. If two teams are tied at the same number of points, then the number of wins and net run rate are considered as tiebreakers.
The top four teams at the end of the league stage progress to the playoffs. The top two teams contest the first qualifier. Teams placed third and fourth play an eliminator. The winner of this match plays the loser of the first qualifier in the second qualifier. Apart from these matches, playoffs are also held for third and fifth position finishes.
Nutmeg Warriors won the inaugural edition of the event in 2021. Bay Leaf Blowers and Saffron Strikers won the tournament in the next two editions. Nutmeg Warriors claimed their second Spice Isle T10 title in 2024.
